Makeup Favorites Part 1

Makeup is art, beauty is spirit.

Makeup is a form of art that I absolutely celebrate. I do it for my self. Makeup is not something that I’ll wear only on special occasions. It’s a part of my routine and it brings in confidence. I have loved and practiced makeup for years now. It has become more famous than ever! A lot of new brands and a lot of new products are just lined up to chose from. Some of my current favorites and product empties, both drugstore and high end will be listed below in no particular order.

Primer

In simple words, primer is the base for your makeup. It fills up all the pores on your face so that you can lay down the foundation perfectly. Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer is a good pick under your budget and the primer that I find the absolute best is the Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Face Primer.

Foundation

The foundation I prefer is a liquid foundation and not a stick one because that doesn’t work the best for me personally. I use a medium to full coverage foundation that is buildable. I am an NC 35 in Mac that is light-medium to peachy gold undertone. Now that being said for a high-end product, my favorite is the Mac Studio Fix Fluid and it looks amazing in pictures. Another one that is affordable and really effective is the Makeup Revolution Conceal And Define Foundation.

Concealer

Concealers and color correctors help in covering dark circles, acne, and blemishes. I don’t have acne but I definitely have dark circles, so to cover them I use L.A. Girl HD Pro Concealer Color Corrector – Peach. If you need extreme color correction for your dark circles then you can go in with an Orange concealer by L.A. Girl. For concealer, I’ve been loving the Sephora concealer. I’m in the shade Noix Walnut and you can purchase it from any Sephora outlet or online store.

Powder

Loose powders are perfect for setting up the makeup and baking. It makes the makeup really long lasting. I highly prefer banana powders as they just suit me well. Baking powders come in different shades too. You can definitely try out the Maybelline New York Loose Finishing Powder or Makeup Revolution Luxury Banana Powder.

Setting Sprays

Makeup setting sprays work amazingly well for locking in the makeup to make it really long lasting. You can use a matte finish spray or a dewy finish spray depending on what you like. NYX Matte Finish Fini Mat works really well for me. Another one that is the most popular amongst the beauty gurus is the Mac Prep + Prime Fix+. It is great for hydration as well for the dry skin. It comes in two sizes and different variants.
