Father? Who is a father? Has anyone ever gave a thought about it? I would like to convey my feelings about father on this very auspicious day.
Someone has rightly said that "The greatest gift that i have received from God; I call him Dad". Father's day is a day where we can thank him for everything which he has been providing us without nagging. The children who have father are the lucky ones, they get a chance to know what love is, what pampering is. There are many children out there who don't have father, who don't have him as a friend and probably they are the ones who actually know his total worth. A father can play several roles in his life he can be a teacher, friend, provider' protector, savior.
A father can be a bestfriend in a child's life. Something unusual, something wrong or when you're sad he is the one who notices it first even when you hide from him. He loves his children unconditionally without demamding anything in return. Sometimes, he shouts you, scolds you whenevr you are wrong but he never leaves you all alone in the path where you went wrong. He is the one who will understand you better than anyone. He is a kind of a person who will never demand anything in return rather he will be busy in fulfilling our needs. He may be stressed at some point in his life but he will never show us, so that we won't be stressed about it.
His unconditional love cannot be ever compared. When you were small he was the one who was happiest of all, he is the one who is completed by the child. The beautiful memories which he has given during childhood is alluring in its own way. When ever you have had any difficulties he was the one to listen you, advice you. When you were out of track he was the one who taught you. No teacher can be as good as a father is, he teaches you the reality of life so that you can adapt yourselves in this world without demanding anything in return. His love and affection is always hidden, everytime he does not show his feelings but deep down he cannot hide it all the time and his hidden love and affection is ecastatic in its own way.
I would like to conclude my speech with the famous saying on Jim Valvano he says , “My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person, he believed in me." In the whole world everyone may giveup upon you but your father would be the one always standing by your side. He is like a shadow, who always follows his children, in good and in bad , in best and in worse too.
