Incredible India

India is an incredible country of unity and peace amidst social, cultural and spiritual diversity. I love the values, the culture and the traditions the countless festivals, the brilliant colors and the hot beating sun all of which make her unique. Indians are steeped in traditions that are old as the mountains. Their wisdom is as deep as Aryabhatta, the man who gave the numerical value ‘zero’ to the world. This is the land of elephants, monkeys and peacocks - strength, wit and beauty coexist.

India is the seventh largest country by its geographical area and is located in South Asia. The beauty surrounds our country from each and every aspect. India is also known as by two other names Bharat and Hindustan and the people of India are known as Indians. The national anthem of our country is “Jan Gan Man” and the national song of our country is “Sare Jahan se Achcha”. India is a Democratic country where people themselves choose their leader and live with freedom i.e. they can do anything they wish to within the limits of the law. If any citizen of India tries to harm any other person, there are also rules and regulations to punish him in order to make him realize his mistake.

As I was pondering about this proud country, I realized that it is the spirit of India that makes her unique.The soul of India is its spirituality. Every road, every street has a temple or a church or a mosque or may be just an idol under a tree to which people pray. These people seek God and his blessings day after day. For most Indians the day starts with seeking God’s direction and blessings. The temples play spiritual music in the early hours of the morning. The churches are full of people praying and the muezzin's call for prayer can be heard at all the fixed times of the day. Simple, humble and willing to submit themselves to the authority of the God of the universe is the nature of India’s people.

India is also incredible because of its beautiful mountains, lakes, forests, seas, oceans etc. Many foreigners each year visit India to see the beauty of our country that is its historical temples, its traditions, its language, its heritage etc. But some of the people do not realize the importance of our country and spoil everything and also harass the foreigners which show the very bad impact of our country India.

Our country India is really a gem and we should treasure it for our coming generations also. We are very lucky that we took birth in India. The traditions, the culture, the history and the heritage of our country are so unique and one must preserve it. Love your Incredible Country India and preserve it till your death!
