My friend told me last week that his laptop’s touch pad had stop working. This was quite strange as it’s been just six months of his laptop. I went to his house in order to help him out. The laptop was of ASUS and he told me few days’ back he upgraded his windows and from that day on, smart gesture has stopped working. Step 2: Dialogue box will open and type Control over there and press enter key

Step 3: In control panel, tap on the large icons and click on the ASUS smart gesture

Step 4: Over there click on the option set all to default

Step 5: After this restart your computer and check if the smart gesture is working or not.

4.    Downloading the modules:

6.    Reinstalling the gesture:

This will be the last option if none of the above mentioned methods didn’t work. You have to download the touch module all over again from the website.

Step 1: Press the window key and R at the same time

Step 2: Dialogue box will open and type appwiz.cpl over there and press enter key

Step 3: You will be seeing all the programs installed by you on your computer. Navigate until you find ASUS smart gesture option.

Step 4: Click on the Uninstall option

Step 5: Further navigate to the official ASUS site and there download the software for your computer.

Step 6: Run the installation file and check if it gets installed successfully
