By air- The Udaipur Maha Rana Pratap Airport is well connected to all the parts of the country.

By road- One can easily find buses and the routes for traveling by car are also clear from several places like jaipur, delhi, agra, jodhpur, etc.

By rail- The city's railway station is connetced to other railway station of various cities.
It is quite easy to reach Udaipur and it is approximately 400 km from jaipur and distance may vary due to several routes like NH 58, NH 48, NH52.

Best time to go Udaipur

The best time to pay a visit to Udaipur is in winters i.e between the month of september to february. Prefer not to visit in summers because the summer days of Rajasthan are extremely hot then one will not be able to roam around places freely.

Places to visit in Udaipur

City Palace- This is the most famous place in Udaipur and one must visit this. It is located at the banks of Pichola Lake. This palace is entirely made up of white marvel and shows the cultures and tradiitons of Rajputs.

Lake Pichola- The Pichola Lake is the oldest and the most beautiful lake of udaipur enveloped by a beautiful palace and surrounded by hills on sides.

The Oberoi Udaivilas- The villa is the one in which Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani was shot. Most peopl think it was city palace but no.. Its The Oberoi Udaivillas.

The Jag Mandir Palace- This palace is also surrounded with Pichola Lake. One can see blissful sunset from the Jag mandir and it offers a huge courtyard with architectural marvel.

Udaipur is the city of lakes so it is obvious there are severvals lakes to be visited. They are - Fateh Sagar Lake, Jaisamand Lake, Doodh Talai Lake, Swaroop Sagar Lake, Badi lake, Dhebar Lake, Udaisagar Lake.

Water Parks- Marvel Wtare Park and Jeel water park are the two most famous water parks in Udaipur.
Vintage car meseum- It is located a few kms away from the city palace. There are thousands of Vintage cars and automobiles.

Local Markets- Bada Bazar, Hathi Pol Bazar are 2 markets famous for traditional stuff of Udaipur.
