More than half of the population is caged yet we perceive those people roaming freely, around us. They are, psychologically, criminals. However, the cage is counterfiet and so are their interpretations.

Many centuries later, but finally, the world has recognized the importance of Mental Health and one's psychological well-being.

However, the progress has just begun and even today, many people battle depression and mental unease without knowing what they are stepping into and how they can come out of the dark puddle. Hence, they end up murdering their soul and emotions which they believe are "the prime reason of their breakdown."

Then, how in this world, where one has to keep track of the "rat race" and show affable tendencies to be accepted by the society, can one take care of his saneness? Here are a few suggestions which might be helpful in battling such issues.

1. Psychologists and Psychiatrists: We are guided by teachers and coaches in order to develop and grow our brain. Howbeit, the maintenance of its stability is as important as its development. Henceforth, the importance and need of these specialists should be recognized.

2. Passion and Hobbies: Finding something you love to do always has a positive impact on your body. Therefore, one should always pursue, or indulge in activities that one likes.

3. No Drugs: Drugs look like an effective solution to control your anger and anxiety, but definitely not in the long run. Abstain from taking drugs as they lead to isolation and insanity in the broader view.

4. Organisations, Applications and Websites: Internet and Organisations providing emotional and mental aid have been quite successful these days. Such platforms allow the patients to express themselves and are a regular reminder that they are not alone.

5. Speak About It: When depressed, people often don't confront their friends and family about the matter due to the fear of being misunderstood. However, one should crush those fears and doubts and speak about it openly.

6. Taking Inspiration: How glad it feels to know that someone, who everyone idolises to be perfect, once battled depression, too. And she's none other than Deepika Padukone.
