“The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.”

―Jack London

Time is more of an issue than an entity to us now. In this hard cut life, we are all racing against time to get the most out of it but most of the people ignore the most important time of the day, that is the morning. In morning, after waking up, it is necessary to train our mind and body in such a way that it is ready for the challenges of the day forward. Following are some steps you can take to make your morning worthwhile and day successful:

1.Get full night's sleep

A healthy sleep of at least 7 hours is as important as drinking water or eating healthy food to keep your body safe from the diseases. A good night's sleep can help you with your memory, attention, creativity and decrease your stress levels, depression and even fat with proper exercise.

Here's a study that shows how sleeping habits and pattern can affect your academic performances and your attention level: https://www.studyinternational.com/news/the-impact-of-sleep-on-academic-performance/

A healthy mind lives in a healthy body. Make sure you get your beauty sleep to rise and shine.

2.Meditation

After a restful sleep, it is important to orient your consciousness to positivity. Meditation helps you focus and give you the time to express your gratitude towards the world. Count your blessings and good things will automatically happen to you. Mediation brings your mind to focus, making it easier for you to get a clearer picture of your aims and then work towards them.

3.Physical Activity

Move your body a little harder in the morning and your body will thank you for it for years. Exercise in the morning when the air is fresh to breathe in deep into your lungs and your body needs to shed away any tardiness can make you happier, healthier, more active and less prone to diseases.

Various studies show that exercise can make you immune from depression, anxiety, stress and other kind of disorders.

4.Surround yourself with inspiration

Usually, in the early hours, we get into the habit of scrolling through our feeds and filling our mind with all sorts of information, non-sense as well as depressing. In the morning, it's necessary to give your mind what it needs for the day: upliftment. Listen to a self-help book or read informative and inquisitive articles to boost your knowledge.

5.Set your goals

You should be well aware of your goals for the day, the week, the month, the year and even long-term like 6 or 10 years. Write these aims, make them concrete and think about what you can do to get nearer to these aims, short as well as long terms. Do at least one thing in the morning which is directed towards your goal and you will feel like you can slay anything that comes to you throughout the whole day.
