METHODS TO WHITEN DARK UNDERARMS AT HOME:

POTATO:

Surprising as it is. This kitchen ingredient can be very helpful in lightening dark underarms. It contains natural bleaching agents that get rid of the darkness.

  • Simply cut the potatoes in slices and rub the slices on your underarms.

  • Leave it for about for 15-20 minutes then rinse it off with cold water. Repeat this process twice a day until you see improvement.

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR:

ACV has tons of benefits when it comes to skin related issues. It contains amino acids that work on dead skin cells by exfoliating the skin.

  • Mix apple cider vinegar and baking soda in a bowl and let it bubble. When the fizzing stops apply the paste onto your underarms.

COCONUT OIL:

GRAM FLOUR:

  • Mix 2 tablespoon of gram flour with a few drops of lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric. Turmeric also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that are good for your skin.

  • Make this into a thick paste and apply it to your underarms. Let it dry for about 30 minutes then rinse it off with cold water. Do this 3 times a week.

MILK:

  • Take 4 tablespoons of raw milk and add equal amounts of honey and gram flour to it. Mix it well until you get a thick paste.

  • Apply this onto your underarms and let it dry for about15-20 minutes. Rinse it off with cold water. Do this 2 times a week.

OLIVE OIL:

Olive oil also brightens and lightens your skin. It also nourishes and conditions skin.

  • Mix 2 tablespoon of olive oil with 1 tablespoon of brown sugar. Mix it well.

  • Apply this mixture onto your underarms and scrub gently for about 5 minutes. Leave it 4 another 10 minutes then wash it off with lukewarm water. Do this 2 times a week.

ALOE VERA:

Filled with anti-bacterial anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing goodness this herbal plant works wonders on your skin.

  • Take about 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel and apply it to your underarms. Leave it for about 15 minutes.

  • Then rinse it off with cold water. You can also mix aloe vera with lemon or papaya for better results.

SANDALWOOD:

Sandalwood has been used for skin lightening since the age of our grandmas. This age-old agent has a cooling effect and also controls body odour.

  • Mix4 tablespoon of sandalwood powder with 2 tablespoons of rose water and apply it to your underarms.

  • Leave it for about 10-15 minutes then wash it off with cold water. Do this 2-3 times a week.

TOMATO:

Tomatoes have bleaching properties that are very effective in lightening and whitening of the skin.

  • Grate a tomato and strain the juice. Rub the juice on your underarms and let it dry for about 20 minutes.

  • Rinse it off with cold water. Do this 2-3 times a week.

TURMERIC:

Turmeric has a powerful compound called curcumin which helps in reducing melanin production. It also contains phytosterols and fatty acids which reduces oil production.

  • Add 1 tablespoon of turmeric and 1 tablespoon of milk. Mix it well and apply it on your underarms.

MULTANI MITTI(FULLER’S EARTH) :
