modifying your life positively, loving and accepting yourself, thinking practically, engaging in positive activities, and working towards your personal goals.

1. Engage yourself-
Engage your mind in something which really makes your mind active, as the vacant mind always build stories and stress and sometimes results in over thinking.

2. Try to do the things that makes you happy.

So never regret or feel shameful to do it again and again.
Never regret anything that made you smile.
3. Do not criticize yourself-
Happiness is more to do with satisfaction of soul. We all try our best to be the best version of ourself. This can sometime result in
Self analysis, self criticism and self evaluation. There is a fine line betweenself -analysing and self-evaluating.
Knowing that what are the things that are making you lacking behind is okay but repeatedly feeling always lacking behind makes self evaluation and sometime results in self devaluation. This effects your self esteem and confidence.
4.Support your own thoughts and ideas, support yourself.
Between the ages of 18 and 25, we experience some big changes and events in our lives. As a young adult, you may be entering the workforce, finding your identity, travelling, studying, socialising, or finding your calling in life.
As you become more independent and your responsibilities increase, it can be stressful. Some of the causes of this stress could be relationship problems, sexual health, identity issues, money problems, and excessive alcohol or drug use, among others. So it's a crucial time to look after your wellbeing.
Noticing any symptoms relating to mental illness early on can help you get back into balance more smoothly later in life. Developing social skills, self-respect, optimistic thinking, and self-discipline can greatly help to improve wellbeing and mental health.
Reaching out and talking to people you trust about what you’re going through can be a big step in the right direction to happiness.
5. Try to find little happiness even in sad days-
One simple thing you can do to enjoy the little blessings and comforts in your home is to keep everything orderly and clean. The easiest way to do this is to get rid of the things in your home that do not bring blessing and comfort. Most people these days are buried under needless stuff. Anything in your home that is neither useful to you nor beautiful to you needs to go. There might be a few beautiful things that you just don't have room for, too. Consider giving these away.
Giving of our abundance increases our feelings of happiness in the little things. Happiness is largely a matter of being thankful. Sharing with someone in need helps us feel more thankful for the things we have. When was the last time you counted your blessings? Make a list of things that are a blessing to you. Do you live on a good road and have a car that runs? Do you have running water and electricity? Many others around the world do not have these simple amenities.
Being happy and content with the small pleasures in life requires us to slow down and take a little time enjoying them.
6. Let it go-
Holding on to pain doesn’t fix anything. Replaying the past over and over again doesn’t change it, and wishing things were different doesn’t make it so. In some cases, especially when it comes to the past, all you can do is accept whatever it is you’re holding on to and then let it go. That’s how everything changes. You have to let go of what is hurting you, even if it feels almost impossible. Deciding to hold on to the past will hold you back from creating a strong sense of self — a self that isn’t defined by your past, but rather by who you want to be. Oddly enough, painful feelings can be comfortable, especially if they’re all you know. Some people have trouble letting go of their pain or other unpleasant emotions about their past because they think those feelings are part of their identity. In some ways, they may not know who they are without their pain. This makes it impossible for them to let go.
