DAY1:
This trip was planned because I was stressed with the college schedule and I badly wanted a break. It was the last week of February 2019 and it was a trip with my family. We flew from Hyderabad to Udaipur.

So, the first stop is Udaipur. We headed to the hotel which we had booked and took a nap. We stepped out in the night to explore the city a bit. There was a lake named 'Fateh Sagar lake' which looked like tank bunk in Hyderabad. There were good stalls everywhere and I couldn't wait to try out new food.

We drove past the lake and reached a handloom store cum museum.

I shopped a little and we started searching for a good place to eat. We had Rajasthani thali and it was quite different and I didn't find it easy to eat.

DAY2:
Places I visited :
1. Udaipur city palace.
2. Pichola lake.
3. Jagmandir.
4. Maharaja Pratap Singh museum.
5. Sahelion ki Bari.
1. City palace :
The city palace was a huge palace cum museum where you can learn lots of history about Udaipur. Every room was magnificent and colourful. It took us 2-3 hours to cover it but it was worth it because of the views from the palace and the carved sculptures. I would say that it would be impossible for elderly with joint pains to take a tour in the palace. I have learnt about a warrior named Maharana Pratap Singh who played an important role and his horse Chetak.

2. Pichola lake:
Beside the palace is the Pichola lake which had a palace or a hotel in the center of it. I guess you can even live in the palace cum hotel if you can afford it. A boat took us around the palace and it was the most beautiful boat ride ever. There were extraordinary building around and one side had hills and this boat took us to our next stop which is Jagmandir.

3. Jagmandir:
Jagmandir is an island palace . This was another incredible place which consisted of suites where people could stay. There was a Abe , a place to eat and beautiful plants around. I couldn't stop myself from clicking pictures . You can sit and enjoy the lake view.

4. Maharana Pratap Singh Museum:
After jagmandir , we had lunch at a South Indian restaurant luckily. We reached the museum after lunch.

It was a small museum which consisted of prototypes of the city palace and other war regions and districts. There was a place more ahead of the museum, where there was a statue of Chetak but something which grabbed my attention was this beautiful lake and the scenary.

Udaipur has so many lakes and palaces and do visit them all. Do not miss wearing one of these.

Visit the biggest lake in India which is the 'Sambhar Lake'.
5. Sahelion ki Bari:
It was a pretty place with flowers and greenery which also has a history behind it. It was built by a king named ' Rana Sangram Singh' for his queen. The queen spent her time whenever she felt like and took her bath and sometimes spent time with her lover. There were pretty flowers and fountains and a lotus pool . This place was cute.
