This is an incident that happened a few months back. It was one cold winter mornings ofHyderabad. I and my uncle went out for a walk and while I was returning back, I saw an old lady and I felt pitiful and sorrowful. She was in her worst condition praying and I could say,she was really old.I went home and told my mom about her and she made me go and offer her some breakfast from any nearby food point. I hurried back to the place where I had seen her earlier hoping she would still stay there and served her some breakfast. She thanked me and I felt awful for her. I decided to do this every day.I was wondering why on earth would some be placed in a situation like this.

A few days passed, I got to know a little about her. I was unable to understand her voice and her feelings and her desires most of the time. I guess she has a small house and her son left her away and she has poor health. One day I asked her if she would like to live in a charitable orphanage and there was a lot of conveying problem that she couldn't even understand what an orphanage was. So, I left.

Few months flew by and when I stepped out for my usual morning walk, I observed a small queue of 2-3 people. They were offering and by the time my turn came, she had chai, bananas, breakfast. I felt she is really surviving a few days. I continued to provide all that I can like sarees, bedsheets, etc. I only feel helpless at present because I stopped visiting her. I still try to go once or twice a week. I wish I could keep her at my house if only I were earning.

My goal is to start an organization and protect poor people especially the aged individuals, but I have no clue how big or difficult the goal is. Until that day, I have decided to serve as much as I can.

I genuinely want a change among people because people everywhere are the reason for everything happening out there. I hope someone there is doing the job which I am unable to and raising their voice.

LET US START TO TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER BECAUSE IN THE END, YOUR EXPENSIVE SHOES, CARS ARE GOING TO LIVE LONGER THAN YOU DO. I WISH MY OLD LADY RESTS IN PEACE SOMEDAY AND NO OTHER PERSON SHOULD BE IN THE STATE SHE WAS IN.
