What is Plastic Surgery?

Plastic surgery has indeed transformed our lives. We no longer have to just make-do with our bodies like we were born, we can now actually alter it to fit ourselves in the social strata.

Too dark skin?

Too thin hair?

Excess fat?

Too fair?

Too thin?

Too wide nose?

Too small lips?

Plastic surgery has answers to all of our problems. Under the knife you go once and come back looking as beautiful as a barbie doll.

There are various kinds of plastic surgeries:

1) Liposuction

It is the most commonly done plastic surgery for reducing fat. Hips, thighs, abdomen it is a multi-dimensional surgery, it makes your skin perfectly taut and those hanging muscles or stretch marks vanish.

2) Tummy Tuck

If the fat is mostly targeted in your tummy area, tuck it in with this surgery. Love junk food a lot? No worries, Tummy tuck will handle that. Hate healthy food? Tummy tuck will handle that too and give you 'natural' abs.

3) Hair Transplantation

This is specifically a boon for the Cancer patients who have to go through tedious procedures that often end up taking away their gorgeous hairs. It is used to rejuvenate a balding scalp and fill it with long luscious locks. (Well, not long in all cases but yeah for filling in the blank gaps).

4) Dermabrasion

Yes, it existed before Kim K's famous on-screen procedure. Dermabrasion, if performed under an experienced plastic surgeon can actually help treat fine lines, wrinkles, aging spots among others. The only requirement is the presence of cash to spend, if not make do with the Haldi, Dahi, Besan desi ubtan.

5) Laser Hair Removal

For those intelligent peeps wondering as to why the author first wrote about hiar transplantation and then it's removal, Nobel Prize is just a step away! Laser hair treatment can help get rid of unwanted hairs on wanted areas (pun intended). Too tired of Regular waxing? Too lazy to Make a sugaring paste? The answer to all your problems is right here. Just a visit to the doctors for about a year or two and you're set.

6) Rhinoplasty

No, no this is not related to rhinoceros but with humans. Mostly used to turn a thick, wide( almost as wide as your smile)nose into a small, thin 'naturally ' beautiful one, only in an unnatural way.

Jokes aside, plastic surgery can really help a person gain more confidence and respect in the society provided that it goes on well! But, the question is 'Is it really worth the risk?'
