Pollution has been a major problem for peoples health in today's times. There have been times when we don't want to get outside of our house due to pollution. But still, have gone for our work and other requirements as outside pollution are not much in our control. But our small steps to reduce pollution will definitely reap.

But what about the time we spend indoors inside our house. Our furniture, synthetic materials and cleaning products at home and offices emit pollution. They are indoor polluntants. These contaminants are in the form of formaldehyde.

Some of the other indoor polluntants are:

  • Pollens

  • Bacteria

  • Moulds

  • Chloro floor carbons ( CFCs)

Indoor polluntants are often caused due to poorly ventilated spaces in homes and offices. Also, it's caused due using abrasive and chemical-filled cleaning liquids for floors and walls.

So, now what can be done to reduce or curtail indoor air pollution?

There a solution to it which is aesthetically good, as well as green and air, purifying. They are plants- the air purifying plants. They clean the air and reduce carbon dioxide. They reduce our stress level and maintain our blood pressure.
