It’s been 7 years since the Syrian crisis took off which started with the Arab spring revolution in 2010 in Tunisia. The Syrian crisis is fight against the current Assad govt. by the Kurdish rebels that want to over throw the Assad regime. Assadruling from 2000 and his father ruled for 30yrs before Assad taking the charge. People want the govt. to resign due to its anti national activities that is against the people.

Syria has about 75% of sunni Muslims and other consists of various other ethnic groups. Since then the protest, demands is being mooted for. Half a million Syrian refugees have been killed and about a million or two have fled to other countries like Europe. Now, there has been talks to stabilise the crisis with various stakeholder like USA, Russia, turkey, Egypt taking stands.

Attempts to cool down the situation in Syria by taking Astana process, Vienna talks, UNs Geneva peace talks has been taking place since then. Russia has started military counter to remove IS established elements. Turkey is also trying hard to push for reconciliation. On the Historical aspect of Middle East the Sykes-Picot Agreement(between U.K and France) for taking control over southwest Asian parts where UK was allotted some part of Mediterranean Sea and France being allocated Syria, Iraq region. Balfour Declaration was also Related to this region where after ww1 UK gave a public statement to support the establishment of Jews people in Palestine.

The Syria peace talks seems taking a different turn with different nations having varied interest in the region. With multiple stakeholder to reconciliation the process has complexed it more over. An immediate solution should be bought at the best interest of the people at large.
