Japanese Horror Number Game

Do you know that japan has 6852 islands in it and there are thousands of haunted stories and superstitions are there?

Hey guys, welcome to my 7^th article and in last article you guys got to know about the logic behind the fingers of cartoons but in this article there are some mysteries of japan that are based on totally illogical things.

So let’s start,

Anime

There are so many good Anime cartoons are running successfully in japan like Dragon Ball Z and Naruto and some of my friends (Anuj, Bharti, Arunabh) loved them but did you ever notice that the quality of these anime are very much better than other American and Indian cartoons and all the anime character are very much realistic and all the character have 5 fingers not 4 like others cartoons, although 4 fingers make their work so much easy, they prefer 5, But why? There is a strong reason behind it and it is superstition.

In Japan the number 4 is equal to death, yes.

Numbers

It’s because in Japanese language the pronuonciations of number 4 and death is same and it is SHI. That’s why the number 4 is always ignored in the lifts and hotels of Japan. In hospital, particular in the maternity sector, the room number 43 is strictly avoided because the pronunciation of 43 in Japanese is SHI ZAN means “ DEATH TO DIE” and even in the cars the number 42 and 49 is avoided because number 42 = TO DEATH and number 49 = TO RUN OVER. These Japanese are so into the superstition that they avoid the number 4 in gifts also like if they are gifting plates to someone they give it in the set of 3 or 5 never 4. So this is the reason that all the anime have 5 fingers not 4. Quite Strange isn’t it?
