Kpop or the Korean Pop has now become the biggest and the greatest hurricane in the world of entertainment and arts. As the name suggests the Korean Pop, it means the music of the Korean singers whether it is about a solo idol or a group. Nowadays, groups like- BTS, EXO, Black Pink, NCT, GOT7, Red Velvet, Monsta X are those who are standing at the peak of the mountain. Their music has become an addiction to the fans of Kpop. These groups have their own fanbase with their unique name. Fans of these group have separate lightstick, unique name, merchandise, fan chants, etc.

If we talk about India then with no surmise we can say that India is also caught in this hurricane of Kpop. The youth of India, especially those of North and South parts of India are totally addicted to it. This kind of addiction is not bad for health. As we know that India is a diverse country which has many languages and religion, so why not we add one more to it, that is, kpop. Kpop has the language of music and religion of fanbase. By the help of kpop, many Indians not just know about kpop music but also about their cultures and customs. Indian fans are organizing many mini-concerts and programs to spread their territories in every part of this country.

When it all started

It all started with a band called BTS when they won the Billboard Music Awards for the first time and made history not just for Korea but for the world. If we talk about India then, 5 years ago there was no such trend of kpop in India. No doubt there were few fans at that time but now it is growing like a grasses in the field, fast and environmental friendly (country friendly). Many groups are now arranging their own mini-concerts in India and one such group is IN2IT. They came to India and performed on both kpop music and Bollywood music. Fans are also doing the charity in the name of their idols which is actually helping in growing the social work. They are also having the official fan pages on social media to enhance such projects and such programs. At last, we can say that only Bollywood and Hollywood is not just the mere source of entertainment in India, now we also want Kpop in this list. Now the days are not too far when Indian kpop fans will enjoy the concerts of their idol in their own country.
