What is language as nd what is so different about the English language

Language is something that connects people with people. It helps us in expressing our feelings and putting it in front of others. It is a medium through which we can interact with others. There are a countless number of language that is spoken in the world and one of them in English. English is the most widely spoken language and considered a common international language when it comes to the field of education, trade, and business. There are 7.5 billion people on Earth and in which 1.5 billion are English speaker which is around 20% of the world's population. Among these 1.5 billion people, 360 million people speak it as a native language. Many countries have English as their official language and one of them is India. India has around 22 official languages and one of them is English.

English should be the campus language

English should be the campus language because of many reasons. First, English could become a common language among students of India and can work as both, a language and an educational code. Second, most of the youth of India are running towards the IT sector where they have to learn coding and coding always happens in English. Third, if some student will take English as their subject then they are not just competing with a particular state or country but the whole world. Forth, if we prefer English in the institute then it will not just work as a second language but as a real personality maker of students because most of the non-English speaker goes into the depression, that why they are not able to speak this particular language and why it is not helping them in their personality development. Fifth, school or colleges are like our second home and at home, we cannot interact with our parents in English and cannot learn English there so the only option we have left is our educational institute.

And at last but not least, in a diverse country like India, through English we can stop cultural clash. Because many if the education hub in cities like, Delhi and Bangalore, students comes from different states and culture and English could be the only language that can help them in interacting with other people of different cultures not just in terms of a common language but also in the language of learning.
