In today's tech savvy world it's hard to imagine a person without a smartphone ,every person from a milkman to businessman owns a smartphone.

"Karlo Duniya Mutthi Mein " has rightly been observed by every person who uses a smartphone today we can have the entire world at our feet by just a click. As technology has advanced so has our patience decreased from eagerly waiting for a particular thing to losing wisdom in just being impatient. With this unscrupulous usage of Smartphones we have been trapped by technology we have become insane losing our consciousness and moving towards a world of loneliness. Addictions have grappled us to such an extent that we forget the birthdays of our loved ones and depend on mobiles to make us remind of them . Why has our brain become so lethargic that it cannot remember all the special days that we ought not to forget .

Unnecessary repeated use of mobiles checking social media toying with our smartphones for mental satisfaction over a period of time damages our inner balance and overtime it becomes a compulsive disorder which needs serious attention. It impedes our logical thinking and makes us vulnerable to non living object. It damages our relationship, causes health problems and cripples us without which we cannot survive . A person is then entangled in the vicious cycle of addiction ,the inner voice makes us guilty for wasting our time on nonsensical things but feel good syndrome kicks in and our willpower is defeated.

Everything in excess is poison - Swami Vivekanand

The above is an old adage that we must not forget ever . Addiction is a negative habit which is hard to get rid of but not impossible with our serious conscious efforts we can win over it :

  1. Switch off mobile phones and turn off all notifications at 9:00 p.m. your body and mind need your involvement in food and sleep respectively.

  2. Stroll out for a night walk with your family members peaceful walk on with the little gupshup will make you truly happy. Go to that Ice cream parlour which made you nostalgic during your childhood.

  3. Involve yourself in activities such as sketching painting art. Ask yourself when was the last time you drew a flower after your art and craft class in school.

  4. Enroll yourself in a club/ gym, play any sport it has the ability to bring back the vitality which you had in yourself during your childhood.

  5. Cook a whole some quick meal and get your family members to do the same it will help you to connect better.

  6. Get a pack of playing cards or bring alive all the childhood games like X & 0 Chor police Raja Rani ,Name place animal thing .This will make you nostalgic and will restore your emotional imbalance.

  7. Dive into your favourite childhood story books like Enid Blyton, Nancy Drew or Hardy Boys. You are never too old to read a children's book as every person has an inner child hidden in them.
