One of the wealthier state of India is Haryana. As the name suggests, it is the "forest land of gods". It is known for its agriculture, cattles and different culture and language. Different battles were fought on the land of haryana like battle of mahabharata was fought in kurukshetra and the other well known battle in the history of India is The battle of Panipat. Haryana is famous for its excellency in various sports like boxing, wrestling. Agriculture and rearing cattles prevail in the ruler areas of Haryana. Haryana is famous for its folk songs, regional language. Haryanvi songs are almost played in every state of India at DJs in parties. With rapid urbanization, and due to Haryana’s close proximity to Delhi, the cultural aspects are now taking a more modern hue.
