The journey is an epic game that became available for PC for the first time. This game lets you play as a traveller and uncover the story as you go further and further. The game itself is concise, but its experience will last for a long time. Everything in this game is unique.

What's so special?

There is no UI in this game for scorekeeping, levels or deaths or health. No dialogue boxes or texts, it's just you and your journey to the top of the world. As a lonely, scarfed stranger, you have only one goal to go to the shining mountain across the horizon. Along the way, you will discover the secrets of the barren world and perhaps meet some other dwellers.

The journey is more of an emotional investment rather than time spent or financial inputs. Creatures made from cloth help to boost the traveller into the air. This scarf allows the player to glide and discover further areas. Even with so much minimalism, there is still an interface of light pulses on the traveller's scarf, which indicates the power left in him. A press of a button causes the traveller to speak with musical rhythm and summon creatures that help him to take an impossible leap.

There are just three necessary actions walking, jumping and speaking. These will help you reach the top of the mountain with ease. There are subtle details that scream to be noticed and want to tell you an incredible perspective on the world. Shouting out to invoke life in the magical cloth is required to advance, but the shouts themselves keep in tune with the background music and even repeat the main theme music.

How is the story narrated?

The monuments and buildings are weathered and bruised by the earth. Each moment in the game is like a painting, which looks like its made after reviewing from hundreds of pro players. The journey will tell you a great story but subtly, so you remember it for decades.

If you had played Flower, then you might notice that it follows many feats from its predecessor. It will startle you with unexpected emotional milestones. The journey will make you realise how beautiful the world can be even in if its in ruins. Each minute gliding across the desert will create a permanent impression on your mind.
