Is Love A Fantasy?

There has never been a time where we saw a more exhaustive and frequent usage of the word 'love'.It can be overheard through whispers amidst coffee tables and is callously flooded on social media.But I wonder how many of us truly feel it?

The spirit of love lies in it's liberty of every person to experience and define it in it's own way.But on it's way I hope the depthness of it's meaning and the connotation attached to it isn't engulfed.

Love for me is a journey.Its a cordial medley of vibes feelings,inctincts,acceptance and adjustments.Falling in love with a person is embracing who they are and growing with them.Its about sustaining with your partner through thick and thin with unconditional support and trust.But a relationship like this takes time,a lot of time and that's how it can make us extremely strong and weak at the same time.

This is best portrayed in the movie 'Revolutionary Road' which reunites the Titanic romantics in the most drastic way.Frank and April ,a newly married couple much in love fall apart in their search for fantasy.Frank is bored of his sales job and April is a struggling actress.They settle in an appeasing suburban landscape ready to create a family.However the emptiness created by household chores , monotonous routine and unwanted responsibilities takes away the thrill and excite from their ordinary life.They seek to escape and this is when the buzzling lifestyle of Paris attracts them.However this decision falls flat and takes a huge tool on their life.Even though the problems are not extreme their relationship becomes complicated and love fades into oblivion.

It's an explicit depiction of the sensitivities, mutual understanding, endless coordination and compromises that love involves.Fantasies often camouflage the reality and disguises the truth.This journey of love can be vigorous, strenous as well as painful.

Love is deeper than the ocean,higher than the sky,brighter that the sun and purer than moonlight!These discrepancies in love doesn’t make it less beautiful or essential.The essence of partnership is initself exposing our deepest insecurities and raw forms.It brings greater intimacy and commitment to the relationship which makes it all the more meaningful.True love is a beautiful journey that every individual can undertake.This kind of journey helps us grow as individuals as well as partners.Love also involves a lot of space that that is independent of unrealistic expectations.The expression of love can be different for different individuals.It can take various forms and should not be homogenized.
