What if the song singing battles we see in movies were as legit in the real world. Well, one such form of battle took place between Dilin nair and Bilaal sheikh. I am sure you are still wonderingaboutthe obscurity of these names. While the name might appear obscure, the people owning it definitely are not. While ‘Raftaar’ is the stage name for Dilin Nair and ‘ Emiway Bantai’ for Bilaal Sheikh. The feud started when Raftaar said that Emiway did not earn enough money, in an interview. And what followed was a trail of diss tracks being released to rap it out on a social platform. The first track was released by Emiway Bantai, titled “samajh mein aya kya?”

Followed by a burning reply on raftaar’s part. Another diss, titled ‘ Sheikhchilli’ was relesed by Raftaar.

Andthen there were a series of five songs released for the purpose of attacking each other. The battle between the two gainedgreat attention. Both the videos havegarnered 72 million and 67 million views, respectively. However, some also claimed it to be scripted move.

But the fascinating thing remains that battles with such creativity never really harm anybody unlike the dirty political battles and the ones on the field.

The culture of the rap seems to be coming to the surface with such feuds and videos coming out in the lime light. ‘Gully Boy’ has been a prominent platform for an insight into the rap culture in our country. A peculiarity that has made the reach of rap to a larger audience and to the whole of country is the proper use of language.
