Before coining the term artificial intelligence, first of all let us know what intelligence means. What do you mean by intelligence??

Intelligence is a phenomena, which makes a living being to react to situations around them especially human. This intelligence includes emotions, reactions to consequences finally logical and thinking ability. How it sounds when we apply this intelligence to machines?? Does AI mean exactly that?

Yes. Artificial intelligence is the application of intelligence to machines. Generally it is defined as producing machines which work with intelligence. Actually it means a lot when we look at future. This finds many applications in the future.

This artificial intelligence generally comprises of machine learning, robotics etc.

How these intelligent machines work?
Brain including nervous system acts as sensors to humans. In the similar manner, these machines also have sensors to react, analyse the situations and work accordingly.

These machines are mainly used in the fields like medical treatment, production sector.
Example of treatment is endoscopy machine that scans digestive system of human body.

ROBOTICS - SIN OR GIFT ?
Robots have chance of replacing workers at mines, soldiers at defence and so on. That means there is a scope for breakdown of livelihood of these people. But as per few intellectuals those change the kind of jobs and in fact society requires a huge amount of cyber engineers to program and control these robots.

CONFLICT
There is conflict among two genius persons of the world regarding AI.
John Zuckerberg, CEO, Facebook, says that "AI is gift to mankind and it is meant for enlightening lives of human society."

On the other hand, Elon Musk, world's one of the best entrepreneurs and inventor of hyperloop, spacex says that, "AI is dangerous to mankind and kill the ability of person in various aspects."

CONCLUSION
In my view, it is better to implement AI in required fields and use it upto an extent. It should be a part of human society but not the ruler of human society.
