“Biking queens” are women bikers, who had driven through many countries and now, are trying to spread awareness on the topic “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”. This initiative is supported by one of the most popular television serial which is produced by Neela Tele films known as “Tarrak Mehta ka Oolta Chashma”. This production not only aims at producing serials full of laughter, but also tries to spread awareness among people through their serial.
Dr. Sarika Mehta, Ms Jindal Shah and Ms Rutali Patel are the three women who would be going to 25 countries across four continents in 90 days. The trip would be starting from 5 June 2019 and would be covering almost 25,000 kms.
The all women biking group will begin the ride from India and end it in London. The places that would be covered are Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, China, Kyrgyzsthan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Netherland, Belgium, France, Spain and Morocco.
This trip was been planned since the past one year, and will be flagged off at Varanasi by the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and is likely to qualify for addition in the records books. This road trip is less travelled by the bikers. The whole trip will be undertaken on KTM 390. The team is also taking a videographer with them who would be shooting the video of the whole trip.
The main aim of the trip is to spread awareness among people that a lady can do anything, she is not a burden for her family. If she wishes she can do anything and make impossible things possible.
The mission by the four brave women will encourage other women to come out and achieve what they always believe in. Women today are achieving milestones and will hold an important place in history in all sectors. Pushing the limits of the mean machines and endurance, Biking Queen will pull off a gripping 90 days led by Sarika Mehta. Along their journey, the brave women will meet many government officials and dignitaries of different countries.
