Photograph- a piece ofpaper that tells a story
If you ask someone what is the most treasured memory they have of times gone by, a majority of will answer- a photograph .Neatly kept in an album or framed on a wall, the moments which they never want to forget which they will cherish for lifetime. Human reminiscence is short lived it withers away with time so everyone likes to maintain a testimony and if it’s in a form of a picture then that is called photograph, it describes the things which words fail to.

From a box camera discovered by Joseph Nicephore Niepce about 190 years ago to pop up selfie cameras in latest mobile phones from monochromes to candid’s, photographs and photography have evolved a lot. Considering the fact with evolution of camera the people which are being clicked or the person who is clicking them had also came a long way……from a family of thirty people now they are just three to be clicked from clicking by a curtain camera to be snapped by a drone camera controlled from a remote, controlled by a camera man and methods may be different but the purpose remain the same to capture each and every memory.

The importances of picture are diverse for different people. A photograph of a martyr soldier holds a very important place in heart of his daughter, the only living memory of her father. In the same way a soldier who is fighting at the border for his nation a family photograph holds the same significance, it acts as a source of strength for him. The old parents in the old age home looking at the photograph of there one and only son which settled somewhere abroad leaving his parents behind to live a life of isolation that picture will give them immense joy and a ray of hope to live with.

Recently NASA scientist captured a snap of the black hole from an event horizon telescope how blissful Stephen Hawking and Albert Einstein will be feeling from the heaven that their labor finally bore those fruit in the form of a photograph.

The invention of camera was a giant leap to mankind because it enabled us to know our history about our ancestors their glorious deeds and learn from them. And now if you have a look at gallery of any youngster there will be numerous snaps in it all them telling a different story.

Every picture tells a story; look carefully; can you tell?
