Yes, being a woman is tough but so is being any other gender. I don’t think God was even 1% partial towards any one sex. It is something that we keep on comparing with others and yet prove ourselves more prone to difficulties of life. It is and was always best of both the worlds. Women always are the first ones who are up for anything that cannot be done alone by men of course but yaa! this is not feminism that I am supporting here. Feminism is not about making women stronger because women are already strong. It is in fact a

radical notion that women are human beings.
Okay Okay! I am a women and I am proud of it and want every other women to be proud of themselves. We women go through a lot in our lives and everyone knows about it. Be it her husband who thinks he is above his wife with no extra quality probably, or be it her father who thinks his daughter is not as capable as his son or be it the society who still thinks that only a son could uphold all the family responsibilities. No, I am not a victim to any kind of injustice but I am an observer who still thinks that there is a lot to be changed in this hypocrite society.

Women undergo a lot of emotional setbacks. I strongly believe that girls these days who flaunt about bleeding a week and not complaining is some other level of attention seeking. Yes we do bleed but there is nothing to admonish about whenever one talks

about women. These are some inbuilt things that we have to undergo without any other option. And come on lets accept it once and for all that we do what we are supposed to do. Having periods is innate and not our choice. And yes, don’t think I am against feminism but yes I am against notifying each and every problem of women so

widely that people start pitying on women. Along menstruation comes a common disease called PCOD i.e. POLYCYSTIC OVARY DISORDER. 6 out of 10 women suffers from

PCOD. It is a very common hormonal disorder which causes different symptoms in women of reproductive age. It is an irregularity in the menstrual cycle and the presence of excess male hormones. In this state, the ovaries are enlarged containing multiple small cysts. This is caused because of lack of ovulation. In some cases increase in the

production of male hormones by the ovaries may lead to excess hair growth in areas that suggests a male pattern. PCOD results in growth stimulation of a lining tissue of the uterus, leading to dysfunctional uterine bleeding. PCOD happens due to genetic reasons and some other unclear reasons. Therefore, women with ovary cysts are not necessarily suffering from PCOD or PCOS.

Women having PCOD may experience:

  1. abnormal menstruation,

  2. heavy or light menstruation,

  3. spotting,

  4. overweight, obesity, or weight gain,

  5. depression,

  6. unwanted hair or loss of scalp hair, and

  7. painful menstruation.

This can be treated by certain medications. This is as normal as any other disease. So all the ladies reading this breathe a sigh of relief, because you are not always pregnant when you miss a period, there is a lot more of it to trouble our cycle.

We women are created to suffer in one or the other way, maybe because women are stronger than men. No offence. Anyways this era is more modernised and almost all the women of the nation are doing what they are supposed to do.

A women is like a tea bag- you can’t tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water.
