• To make them walk in the right way is not incumbent on you, but Allah guides aright whom He pleases ; and whatever good thing you spend, it is to your own good ; and you do not spend but to seek Allah ' s pleasure ; and whatever good things you spend shall be paid back to you in full, and you shall not be wronged.
  उन्हें मार्ग पर ला देने का दायित्व तुम पर नहीं है, बल्कि अल्लाह ही जिसे चाहता है मार्ग दिखाता है । और जो कुछ भी माल तुम ख़र्च करोगे, वह तुम्हारे अपने ही भले के लिए होगा और तुम अल्लाह के उद्देश्य के अतिरिक्त किसी और उद्देश्य से ख़र्च न करो । और जो माल भी तुम्हें तुम ख़र्च करोगे, वह पूरा - पूरा तुम्हें चुका दिया जाएगा और तुम्हारा हक़ न मारा जाएगा

• Say: O people! indeed there has come to you the truth from your Lord, therefore whoever goes aright, he goes aright only for the good of his own soul, and whoever goes astray, he goes astray only to the detriment of it, and I am not a custodian over you.
  तुम कह दो कि ऐ लोगों तुम्हारे परवरदिगार की तरफ से तुम्हारे पास हक़ आ चुका फिर जो शख़्स सीधी राह पर चलेगा तो वह सिर्फ अपने ही दम के लिए हिदायत एख्तेयार करेगा और जो गुमराही एख्तेयार करेगा वह तो भटक कर कुछ अपना ही खोएगा और मैं कुछ तुम्हारा ज़िम्मेदार तो हूँ नहीं

• What! is he whose evil deed is made fairseeming to him so much so that he considers it good ? Now surely Allah makes err whom He pleases and guides aright whom He pleases, so let not your soul waste away in grief for them ; surely Allah is Cognizant of what they do
  फिर क्या वह व्यक्ति जिसके लिए उसका बुरा कर्म सुहाना बना दिया गया हो और वह उसे अच्छा दिख रहा हो ? निश्चय ही अल्लाह जिसे चाहता है मार्ग से वंचित रखता है और जिसे चाहता है सीधा मार्ग दिखाता है । अतः उनपर अफ़सोस करते - करते तुम्हारी जान न जाती रहे । अल्लाह भली - भाँति जानता है जो कुछ वे रच रहे है

• Say: Every one is awaiting, therefore do await: So you will come to know who is the follower of the even path and who goes aright.
  कह दो," हर एक प्रतीक्षा में है । अतः अब तुम भी प्रतीक्षा करो । शीघ्र ही तुम जान लोगे कि कौन सीधे मार्गवाला है और किनको मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त है ।"

• O children of Adam! if there come to you apostles from among you relating to you My communications, then whoever shall guard and act aright - - they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.
  ऐ औलादे आदम जब तुम में के पैग़म्बर तुम्हारे पास आए और तुमसे हमारे एहकाम बयान करे तो कोई ख़ौफ़ होगा और न वह आर्ज़दा ख़ातिर होंगे

• And those who hold fast to the Book, and perform the prayer - - surely We leave not to waste the wage of those who set aright.
  और जो लोग किताब को मज़बूती से पकड़े हुए हैं और पाबन्दी से नमाज़ अदा करते हैं हम हरगिज़ नेकोकारो का सवाब बरबाद नहीं करते

• O children of Adam! if there come to you apostles from among you relating to you My communications, then whoever shall guard and act aright - - they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.
  ऐ आदम की सन्तान! यदि तुम्हारे पास तुम्हीं में से कोई रसूल आएँ ; तुम्हें मेरी आयतें सुनाएँ, तो जिसने डर रखा और सुधार कर लिया तो ऐसे लोगों के लिए न कोई भय होगा और न वे शोकाकुल होंगे

• Now, surely, sincere obedience is due to Allah and those who take guardians besides Him,, We do not serve them save that they may make us nearer to Allah, surely Allah will judge between them in that in which they differ ; surely Allah does not guide him aright who is a liar, ungrateful.
  जान रखो कि विशुद्ध धर्म अल्लाह ही के लिए है । रहे वे लोग जिन्होंने उससे हटकर दूसरे समर्थक औऱ संरक्षक बना रखे है" हम तो उनकी बन्दगी इसी लिए करते है कि वे हमें अल्लाह का सामीप्य प्राप्त करा दें ।" निश्चय ही अल्लाह उनके बीच उस बात का फ़ैसला कर देगा जिसमें वे विभेद कर रहे है । अल्लाह उसे मार्ग नहीं दिखाता जो झूठा और बड़ा अकृतज्ञ हो

• : O David! Lo! We have set thee as a viceroy in the earth ; therefor judge aright between mankind, and follow not desire that it beguile thee from the way of Allah. Lo! those who wander from the way of Allah have an awful doom, forasmuch as they forgot the Day of Reckoning.
  ऐ दाऊद हमने तुमको ज़मीन में नाएब क़रार दिया तो तुम लोगों के दरमियान बिल्कुल ठीक फैसला किया करो और नफ़सियानी ख्वाहिश की पैरवी न करो बसा ये पीरों तुम्हें ख़ुदा की राह से बहका देगी इसमें शक नहीं कि जो लोग खुदा की राह में भटकते हैं उनकी बड़ी सख्त सज़ा होगी क्योंकि उन लोगों ने हिसाब के दिन को भुला दिया

• And when those who believe in Our communications come to you, say: Peace be on you, your Lord has ordained mercy on Himself, that if any one of you does evil in ignorance, then turns after that and acts aright, then He is Forgiving, Merciful.
  और जो लोग हमारी आयतों पर ईमान लाए हैं तुम्हारे पास ऑंए तो तुम सलामुन अलैकुम कहो तुम्हारे परवरदिगार ने अपने ऊपर रहमत लाज़िम कर ली है बेशक तुम में से जो शख़्श नादानी से कोई गुनाह कर बैठे उसके बाद फिर तौबा करे और अपनी हालत की वह यक़ीनी बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है
