1. Great wall of India:
Kumbhalgarh Fort in Rajasthan has the second-longest continuous wall in the world after the Great Wallof China ever built. The Fort Wall extends to the enormous length of 36km located in Chittorgarh.
2. Kumbh Mela:
The 2011 Kumbh Mela was the largest gathering of people. It has over 35 million pilgrims. It was so huge that the crowd was visible from the space.
3. The highest cricket ground in the world :
At an altitude of 2444 meters, the Chail Cricket in Chail in Himachal Pradesh is highest in the world. It is part of Chail Military School.
4. Science day in Switzerland:
The science day in Switzerland is dedicated to Ex-Indian President, APJ Abdul Kalam. He has visited Switzerland in 2006. Upon his arrival, that day was declared as Science Day.

Diamonds were initially only found in the alluvium deposits in Guntur and Krishna River Delta. After that, it was found in Brazil in the 18th century. India led the world in Diamond production.

India recently overtook the European Union in milk production reaching over 132.4m tonnes in 2014.
8. Water on the moon was discovered by India:
In September 2009, India’s ISRO Chandrayaan-1 has first detected water on the moon for the first time.

India has the largest postal network in the world with 1,55,015 post offices throughout India. The floating post office in Dal lake, Srinagar was inaugurated in August 2011.
10. The wettest inhabited place in the world:
Mawsynram, a village on the Khasi Hills, Meghalaya, receives the highest recorded average rainfall in the world. It holds the record of most rainfall in the calendar year of 1861.
