5.Darth Vader – Star Wars

Born, Anakin Skywalker, he was a Jedi Knight, who endorsed the Light side of the Force. Anakin was considered to be the Chosen One, but deceived his master, Obi Wan Kenobi, because of his lust for absolute power. He killed his own wife, his teacher and tortured his children to the point of death. He turned over to the Dark side of the Force, became a Sith Lord, as an apprentice to Darth Sidious. His lust for power was such that he slaughtered a bunch of children of the Jedi Order to prevent any uprisings in the future. He even killed his new master so he could rule the empire, and by the virtue of the Dark side of the Force, gain more power.

4. Amy Dunne – Gone Girl

Amy Dunne is one of the most messed up characters to be ever written. She comes of as an innocent loveable lady at first. But her evil side starts to show when her desires start getting compromised. She if fueled by her horrific thirst of ‘winning’. She will fake her death, hit herself with a hammer, kill a few people and frame you for her death if you dare buy a video game without her prior approval. But in the end, she will come back to you because she just loves you so dearly.

3. Hannibal Lecter – Silence of the Lambs

This guy is a present federal inmate who helps the federal agents to profile serial killers. He himself is a cannibal/ serial killer and takes prides in his love for the finer things. He loves to cook. Usually he cooks his victims, the people he kills. If you are ever invited by Mr. Lecter over for dinner and are presented with delicious home-cooked dishes, have them with a pinch of salt. Don’t dare to disturb him during an orchestra, you may end up on his dinner plate.

2. The Joker – The Dark Knight

Everyone is familiar with Gotham’s Clown Prince of Crime. Of all Batman’s enemies, Batman fears Joker the most. What makes the Joker so very dangerous, is nihilistic personality. He doesn’t care about life, not even his own. He is a man with no history, no family and no friends. He has literally nothing to lose and thus, nobody can get any leverage on him. He also happens to be highly unpredictable. One moment he is robbing banks, the next moment he is asking for the senator’s head or else he blows up Gotham’s hospitals. According to him, his sole purpose of existence is Batman. Because Batman exists, he exits. He is the polar opposite of whatever Batman represents and will go up to any extent to cease Batman’s existence.

1.Lee Woo-jin – Oldboy

This character maybe unknown to many people. He is the main antagonist in the Korean movie, Oldboy. Lee Woo-jin is probably the most heinous villain that the silver screen has ever witnessed. He experienced a tragic loss in his childhood. Several years later, he abdicates the culprit from his early years and imprisons him in a private facility. The culprit was locked up for 15 years without witnessing any sunlight or anything from the exterior world at all. The 15-year imprisonment led to his dehumanizing. He was hypnotized and sent out into the world. Once out, he falls in love with a woman and finds out Lee Woo-jin for revenge. Lee Woo-jin discloses to him that the woman he fell in love with, happens to be his own daughter. Due to the 15-year imprisonment and hypnotism, he was unable to recognize his own daughter. His incestuous relationship with his daughter only angered him more. Lee Woo-jin threatened that he would disclose the same information to his daughter as well. As a result, Lee’s longtime enemy falls on his knees and agrees to become his slave. This meant victory for Lee Woo-jin, and he then kills himself only to let his enemy suffer in the shame for the rest of his life.
