The Charitable Chaiwala!

CHAIWALA. Hasn't this term made us go Gaga over the past few years or decade?

This has been one such term or to say this job that has made different people gain all the attention and has made them a subject to gather all the headlines.

The entire nation has been talking about this particular job and the people doing the job known as"CHAIWALA".

Who is a Chaiwala? What have the Chaiwalas done that they've received this recognition? Why are they famous in today's world and especially in India?

All these questions have been asked by almost everyone of us (The Citizens of the country). The answers well , have been their WORK.

Their contribution towards the country , towards the development , towards the welfare of the nation and most importantly towards a better tomorrow.

Answering to the question of Who is a Chaiwala , A Chaiwala is an individual who makes and sells tea. Tea is known as CHAI in Hindi and the person selling it is called Chaiwala or a Tea Seller.

Now talking about the prominence of Chaiwalas in our country , We all know about one such Chaiwala whohas made the nation very proud. The one who is now the leader of the nation. The one who works FOR the people , BY the people and TO the people.

I'm talking about none other than MR. NARENDRA MODI , our very own PRIME MINISTER of INDIA.

We all have known his struggle and journey from a Chaiwala to the Prime Minister of the nation.

His story is nothing short of Inspiration , which helps all the people to do something better for themselves and for the nation.

As discussed about one of the most known and discussed Chaiwalas , let's move on to the next Chaiwala who has made the entire nation proud by his selfless contribution towards the welfare of the nation.

I'm talking about none other than , DEVARAPALLI PRAKASH RAO.

Devarapalli Prakash Rao ,living in Odisa, who is a tea seller was denied educatio. He is running a school for the kids of the slum dwellers , so that these kids get a proper education.

He built a school with the mere earnings that he earned from selling tea.

His daily routine started from selling tea early in the morning from 4:00 am. With all his earnings , which cannot be considered High , he built a school named "ASHA O ASHWASANA" for around 80 kids living in the slums.

He has been selling tea for the past 50 years and out of which he has spent more than half of his earnings in building a school for the kids.

The most recent incident when Prakash Rao came in to the limelight , was when PM Narendra Modi had talked about him and had built a mountain of praises for the 59 year old for his contribution towards the development and welfare of the society in his show MANN KI BAAT , which airs on ALL INDIA RADIO , every Sunday.

It was on 25^th January when the 59 year old was conferred with the 4^th highest civilian Award , PADHMA SHRI.

He considers this as the biggest achievement in his life besides receiving compliments from PM Narendra Modi.
