Art is a beautiful form of life. It is one of the most beautiful ways to express one's feelings. It is used to describe one's emotions in the most beautiful manner.

Art is universal. It has no boundaries , no limits. Anyone can be a part of art. Anyone who paints , sketches , animates can be called an Artist.

Although everyone cannot be an artist , it takes something special to be called as an artist actually. One has to put in what he or she has to say in such a way that the people understand what one is trying to speak in what art they've done.

The art should speak louder and clear for an artist rather than one's words. That is how an artist gets recognition. That is how an artist is called , An Artist.

Art can also be misused. It can be used to disrespect or demotivate a particular individual or a group belonging to a particular caste , Creed or religion.

It is misused only when the art leads to a particular person or a group getting offended. When it hurts one's sentiments.

One such recent incident where in Art was misused or which unknowingly lead to offending people's sentiments in a disgraceful manner was when Loyola College located in Chennai held an Art exhibition where in all the art pieces were made by a Dalit Hindu Group who were not a part of the college.

The actual problem arised when the college authorities exhibited the art pieces at the college premises and few of the paintings lead to serious offence to few of the Right wing Hindu Groups who supposedly alleged that the paintings hurt hindu sentiments.

Few of the paintings were considered a serious offence to the Hindu religion , by hurting their beliefs and sentiments.

One of the paintings show a menstruating woman chained to a Trident.

Here's the image.
Few other paintings were seen , where in one of the paintings had a Trident inserted in a woman's vagina.

Here's the image.

Although the college authorities have apologized for display of the exhibition at the college premises after the BJP and few of the Hindu right wings termed these paintings as "Anti-Hindutva".

Art should have no limitations and restrictions. That doesn't mean art subjects to be offensive and hateful towards a particular religion or people's beliefs.

It should never be derogatory and disgraceful towards a particular entity or a group.

India has been a country which has received recognition all over the world due to it's art. Let's hope it continues to do so without hurting anyone's beliefs and sentiments.
