As per the format of the game, the player or participant is given a task on daily basis, which the person is expected to complete within a time period of 50 days.

The performance of the task is administered by a group of people who ask participants to share photos of the challenges completed by them on social media. The final task generally is committing suicide. Daily tasks of the game include small challenges such as listening to certain genres of music, waking up at odd hours, watching a horror movie, among others. As the game proceeds, the nature of tasks start to become bloody and dangerous.

At the later stages of the game, the participants are asked to carve out shapes on their skin, self-mutilation and eventually the extreme step - ending their life.

As per the media reports, this bloody game has its origin in Russia. The game is famous with many other names such as - A Silent House, A Sea of Whales, F57 or F-57. This online game is mostly played on social media platforms such as Instagram and Snapchat.
