This is one of the best beaches in India, and ideal for honeymoon couples as it is less populated than the most famous beaches in India. The sea is full of Ablue green waters. To reach Tarkarli, you either take a flight upto Goa International Airport, or trains from Mumbai, Goa and Pune. Major trains that serve Tarkarli are Konkan Express and Mandovi Express. It is 131 kms from Goa Airport. Here you can enjoy all types of sports activities such as scuba diving, Jet Ski Ride, Kayaking, Water scooter, Parasailing etc. The most amazing experience that people had here was that of Kayaking among the glistening waves of water. There are many restaurants on the beach itself where you can enjoy seafood with local twists. One of the most famous restaurant is Tamhankar's Konkan Cultural Treat. Visava Beach Resort is one of the best places to stay in Tarkarli, specially if you are on your honeymoon. If you are a vegan then then you can enjoy food at restaurants like - Hotel Shrigaonkar, Sai Krupa, Anmol Hotel and Rajbhog Veg restaurant. If you are done with the beach then there is a Sindhudurg Fort, about 45 minutes away from Tarkarli, which was made in 17th century, you can go up the fort and enjoy the waves of Arabian sea from those stone walls.
