The state of being one i.e. union of masculine and feminine dimensions within a being.

The way society has preached the social code of conduct on the basis of one's sex i.e a biological identity has moulded humans to identify themselves with their respective genders i.e. a social identity and has resulted to a well familiar concept - gender inequality.

Since time immemorial, humans identify themselves on the basis of their gender. Religion is used as a tool, to get it straight into one's heads, what one is, on the basis of what one is born with, making an efficient and balanced functioning of the society impossible.

What needs to be understood is very fundamental - one's identity is based on one's inclinations, capabilities and achievements. It has nothing to do, with the chemicals driving certain things, within one's body. In fact, the way attribution has taken place for genders, is indeed very funny where if one looks closely, one can easily identify that the attributes associated are dimensions within a being, which can be developed by anybody.

The dimensions within an individual i.e. masculine and feminine refers to its logical and creative side. The conventional categorization has bestowed the qualities – courage, rationality, pragmatism, aggression, intelligence and physical strength to masculine whereas the qualities – creativity, sustainability, fierceness and beauty to feminine. Its interpretation by the common folks has led to the patriarchy – a social system where power lies in the hands of males. Instead, of it being in capable and deserving hands, it is confined to one half of the species due to their interpretation of it. It is being used as a tool of oppression and means of creating inequality.

Illuminating the causation of years of authoritarianism and subjugation - 'male ego', animosity with women empowerment and education, the mindset of ' women - commodities of pleasure' that can be easily experienced and displaced whenever males want to.

Statistically, gender parity is an economic issue as well. According to McKinsey’s estimates, if women participated, treated and paid as equal as men then it would add $28 trillion or 26% to the global economy by 2025. Yet, we are stuck to the hollow differences between males and females, not realising the potential underneath absolute gender equality, in spite of the indication offered by the figures.

As a result, females and males are confined to a rigid social system, where one has to be, what is expected from him/her. It has resulted to a mental, physical and emotional subjugation and confinement. Things are far worse, for eunuchs who due to their biological composition are treated outcasts and forced to live a particular kind of life.

Indeed, the state of the society clearly reflects whether the masculine and feminine dimensions were confined as something within a being or used as a tool of oppression where one's sex determines one's access to opportunities. Being born of a particular sex comes with a predetermination of one's personality as well as a whole lot of other stuff regarding everything.

One walks with things, designed on the basis of what one is born with - social conditionings, mindset, behavioural patterns based on genetic combination, few hormones and one's body stating it's absurdity.
