When a company is looking for someone to hire they are no just simply looking for someone to fill an empty chair or do as they are told, the company have multiple plans and ideas when it comes to adding someone in their team and these plans are based on what the company actually needs.

The concept that company just expect their employees to make numbers and just work as per company’s will is not only invalid in recent times but also stand no future. We can understand the company’s needs by understanding what they look for when they consider any candidate-

Knowledge- Knowing what the job is and knowing how to do the job more efficiently are two very different things. If a person can do the job they just what all steps are required but when a person understands the job, they can not only do it but also improve the process by either removing the extra cost baring factors or by just adding more future relevant factors.

Responsibility- No Company wants an employee they have to trail and guide every step of the way; this will just be an extra cost on them. Company does look for the candidates who can take the incharge of the job they are allotted with. In such cases adding a new member mostly means that the new member of the company has to not only understand the comp any culture but also need to adapt it. In such scenarios a person company from completely different ideologies is difficult.

Growth and future- As every person wants to grow so does the companies but the companies are not only focused upon growth as in financially, they also look for the team to grow with them. Efforts like training, internal hiring and career path helps the company to understand the talents they already have and make them grow with the company. In such cases employees who join with a plan for couple of years and switch, the company not only loses the cost they have spent on him, but they also have to incurred more cost in looking for the nw employee and do the entire process again.
