We as humans are given some constitutional rights by the judiciary, some people might know these and that’s good but some might not. Human rights are rights given to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other thing.Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom of slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more.Everyone is entitled to these rights, without discrimination.

India has 6 fundamental rights, and every single citizen can exercise it. We have fought for 200 years for these, our ancestors worked their butt-off for this and if we don't learn them and exercise them then it is a shame for them. The vague rights in the Indian Constitution includes :

• Right to equality – This right says that everyone must be treated equal in the eyes of law and be evaluated the same. Equal in the context of religion, caste, race. I know the sad truth still remains that the people with money are treated differently than people without.

• Right to freedom – This gives us the freedom of speech, freedom to assemble without arms, freedom to go anywhere in the country, freedom to practice any profession. But can you really feel the freedom? The society has locked us in this strong shackles of stigma, which is beyond pathetic.

• Right against exploitation – This protects people against trafficking, child labor, compelling people to work without wages unless it’s a government service or an NGO.

• Right to freedom of religion – We can choose to follow any religion in our country, the fact that we have a fundamental right about this shows how much people value their religion and are ready to do anything for it.

• Cultural and educational right – Protects all the cultural aspects and gives educational right to every citizen.

• Right to constitutional remedies – We can appeal to the court if their rights are violated and this happens to be the most important right as we can put up a case against anyone.

Even though we have these fundamental rights, we have some amendments as well, but I feel that after 70 years we should abolish these old manuscript and work together to form a better constitution which addresses the problems of today.

Peace.
