Motorola, a well-reputed company has faced its share of ups and downs during the course of time. First they were under Google, and that was the golden period for them. Later it was bought by Lenovo, and according to me, that’s when its downfall began. Motorola was famous for providing the latest software updates before any company back in 2013. But since it came under Lenovo, they have slowed down in almost every aspect.

Their devices have been a hit and miss since then. But recently, Motorola jumped onto the Android One program bandwagon and they have been improving. At least in the software department as it is under Android One program, the updates are released earlier than usual.

Motorola recently confirmed that they will soon be launching a device in India. Now, the new device which is called the Motorola One Action is expected to launch on 23rd August. What’s interesting is, that the Xiaomi Mi A3, which is also an Android One device, is also expected to launch on the same date which is 23rd August.

Now coming to the ‘expected’ specifications of the Motorola One Action, the device may come with a 6.3-inch LCD display with 1080x 2520 resolution. There may be a triple-camera setup with a 13-megapixel main sensor, an ultra-wide sensor and a depth-sensing sensor the resolutions of which are still not known. The front shooter will be of 12.6-megapixels. It is rumored to come in two variants with 3GB and 4GB of RAM and 32GB, 64GB and 128GB of Storage. As the name suggests, it will run on Stock Android for obvious reasons. It may be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 9609 and will also support NFC connectivity. It may come in 2 colors which are Blue and Gold. The battery’s capacity is rumoured to be 3,500mAh.The pricing is still not confirmed, obviously, but the device is expected to launch on Flipkart at a price of Rs.19,990.

If both, the Mi A3 and Motorola One Action launch on the same date, it will be interesting to see how they both compare with each other.
