The prestigious World Cup tournament is just a few months away and every participating team is gearing up to announce their final squad for the mega ICC event. The multi-nation event will bring together some great players and pitch them against each other to win the coveted trophy. Amid some great cricket legends, over a billion pair of eyes will be glued to watch one spectacle, ‘The Dhoni-Kohli’ show.

Legends from two great era of Indian cricket will be up there, on the world stage, playing together. The joy and happiness of fans watching them play together is incomparable. What every Indian fan truly enjoys, more than anything else is the great camaraderie they both share with each other. At no stage, there has ever been a single rumor detrimental to their harmonious relationship.

Just before 2017 Dhoni was the Indian captain and Kholi was playing under him but now the tables have turned and now it's the exact opposite. But both having so much respect for each other that even though Dhoni being a senior player was happy to play under Kohli. Dhoni very quietly moved away from the limelight and passed in the baton to Virat. He still remains an integral part of the team and his piece of mind is definitely benefitting Kohli and will continue to prove useful even in the World Cup.

What's unfortunate is that this WC, most probably will be his last ICC event and fans would like him to continue till 2020 T20 world cup but the answer to that lies with Dhoni only. Indian cricket will move forward without him but no one can replicate his success just like no can be another Sachin, Gavaskar or Kapil Dev.

Virat, on the other hand is just breaking records at a mammoth pace and age being on his side he will end his career as Greatest Of All Times, and most probably will surpass records of Tendulkar. Together, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli transform into a very lethal combination. One has the experience and other has the energy. One has an exceedingly calm persona and other has an extremely aggressive intent. One builds the inning and the other tears the opponents apart. One sets up the stage from the front and the other finishes the game at the end. They both are like chalk and cheese but their combination is deadly for their opponents.

It will be a delight to watch both playing together for one of the very last times on the international scene. Winning this event will not only fulfill Virat's 11-year-old dream but also, just like what MS Dhoni did for the legend Sachin Tendulkar at ICC World Cup 2011, it will allow Dhoni to have a deserving farewell.
