Did you wake up today in a grumpy mood?
If yes, then probably you are using the wrong toothpaste. Weird isn't it? But that's what a leading toothpaste brand claims. If a certain soap brand is to be believed, then your success rate in life is directly proportional to how pretty you look. Such nonsensical ideas are being propagated by famous advertising agencies just to lure you into buying their products.

Every day we come across a hundred advertisement popping up on our Tv screens making various claims on the usefulness and uniqueness of their respective products. Every brand wants to establish itself in the consumer market.

Same products are sold under different brand names asserting how different they are from their brand rivals. While the selling companies don't leave a stone unturned to make sure that the products they launch dominate the market, the tactics they use to promote them are questionable.

So many ad-films emphasize the importance of fair skin and the social acceptance you get when your body is well toned. They openly play with the sentiments of people by manifesting their fear into reality.

The advertisement industry is not only limited to promoting and selling products. It touches other aspects of our lives as well. If you ever find yourself in a financial, medical or emotional crisis then there are organizations advertising themselves to be your sole helper, ready to ensure that all your problems are solved. They use clickbait slogans to attract customers.

With so many new brands being launched every day, the competition among them has become stiffer. This could be one of the reasons for the declining standards of advertisements. While this trend doesn't seem to stop anytime sooner, it is on the consumers to get the wake-up call and act smart.
