Feminism : Judgement Or Empowerment

FEMINISM, one word but numerous thoughts, opinions, patriotism, etc. The movement whether it is cultural or political which bring or carry the idea of gender equality in terms of women that what we call feminism today. but why I used the word JUDGEMENT in my title you will understand that sooner. But first let's read a true story about a girl studying in Patna university.

one day just before sundown when I was walking home from college I saw a bunch of people yelling and beating a boy. After watching clearly I came to know that the reason they were mad at him was because he misbehaved with a girl. Afterwards I came to know that the girl he misbehaved with was from my college and she has a proper feminist kind of image in college. so I was just thinking that a girl who behaves as she has such strong values about women empowerment but now she is crying in middle of the street and calling her brother to help her. I mean what are the meaning of her virtues and values if she can't even handle this kind of situations herself. The one who is shouting always that women are stronger then men, they don't need men in their life, they are better anyway with or without them, now why does she needs help of a men why can't she protect herself on her own. so next day I just discussed that incident with my friends and one of the girl in my group asked me that, is there no meaning of values or virtues of a feminist unless and until she proves herself? After long and heated discussion we came to an opinion that, there are many women in this world who have done some marvellous works to prove that there is no such wall between sexes but based on their works or based upon any other person's achievements one cannot tell itself superior than other one. no male and female can do that. so if u say that male and female are same there should not be any gender inequalities then just mean it and don't demand special treatment just because you are a women.

Because ironically in this very world there are women who says "ALL MEN ARE SAME", and at same time there are some men who says about his partner that "MINE IS DIFFERENT".
