Vedas are the theory & yoga is the implementation of life that humans must lead irrespective of all their differences. Yoga awakens the life force that makes us human, gives us inner peace & calm. Being a millennial, I also don’t believe in many things & I seriously don’t have the patience & persistence to put up with yoga as it is a farsighted investment in ones’ health. But it is an investment after all & remembers those morning school sessions where once a week you had to do yoga & sit pretending to close your eyes for an hour at least, but it was refreshing. You don’t need to do it daily but do it in a while it’s rejuvenating, energizes you from the core.

Yoga is everywhere from the end of our toes to the tip of our hairs it can be felt if you practice it with passion. It was World Yoga day just two days ago; India’s gift to the world, yoga is now a global practice across the world people have accepted it what reason do we as youngsters have to reject it. For centuries our ancestors have practiced yoga as a path of life we sure as hell can try & keep up the tradition & inculcate it in our schedule; it will only take a tiny bit of our time, but our traditions can only be preserved by us.

Yoga’s popularity has increased exponentially in the last 5 years & now I do believe it is good for everyone. Age doesn’t really matter when it comes to yoga; yoga positions can be done according to age & whatever suits you. So, join the nearest yoga club; we prefer clubs than Baba Ramdev sessions & have fun with people of your age. Now as I said before don’t do it daily you will get bored easily that way; rotate it around the week with other activities. Yoga is more than a few stretches & meditation exercises; it is a step towards a better understanding of self & a spiritual path.

People have devised all various ways to make yoga asana better for themselves:

·Nature Yoga: Be in the presence of tree & river experience that awe of the green environment.

·Writing Yoga: Presenting your thoughts on paper can also be a form of Nirvana; go sit with your pen & paper while in the higher dimension & write down the ambiance.

·Kitchen Yoga: All the cooks out there you don’t need to leave kitchens to do Yoga; a little breathing exercise & make chopping & kneading fun.
