Game of Thrones is in its final season, has so far kept the fans on edge when it comes to suspense & thrill in the storyline. Those who have followed the show through the years have experienced this feeling exclusive to GOT fans only, where you get pissed for the death of your beloved character; yet craved to see the fate of those who made it to the next episode.

It is like an addiction; you just cannot stop watching & there are people out there who would have binge-watched all the seasons every time a new season would be releasing. The writers have made us all ponder over each piece of foreshadowing & prophecies that are there in the books & shows. I still remember, how many fan theories I would just go through online (articles, videos, Instagram edits, etc) & yet the makers surprised us when Arya Stark used her cool moves to kill the Night King forever.

Now, let’s talk about how this season is giving us a roller coaster ride around the GRRM’s world. The show starts with the living army preparing for the attack on the dead army & how to end the NK, the first episode shows a parallel in many different scenes to the first episode of the series. The audience has been a bit upset with the lighting of the second episode, although I think it’s only fitting cause they (writers) want us to feel what the characters are feeling. The hopeless in the wake of NK till the last minute of the episode. And so, the story moves forward; as Emilia stated the fifth episode is bigger & the aftermath of “Dracarys”.

“Dracarys” literal happened in the next episode, Kingslanding was burnt down to ashes & the Dany as foreshadowed several seasons before died without sitting on the iron throne. I don’t absolutely love the ending but if we see with every character perspective all of them have come to a whole circle. Although I wish John to the king of the six kingdoms (he has a far better story than bran). But Arya’s character arc in this season was an absolute delight & I love that Sansa got her wish to be a Queen as young girl (in the first episode she says this to her mother Lady Stark) after all the suffering she went through.

PS: Can’t help but drop some major spoilers, if you haven’t watched the season finale yet.
