There is a famous saying ,"winners don't do different things; they do things differently"- Shiv khera

Many a times we do not begin a task because we are afraid of failure. We concentrate on the hurdles, problems that may stand in our way. We lack the confidence and will power to start, to face problems as they come and do not move ahead. Timidity and fear are the greatest obstacles to progress in life. Why should we obstruct our path to success by mere imagination of all the hurdles that might crop up on our way?

You would have never learnt swimming if you feared drowning or cycling if you were afraid of falling down.
When you are up against a tough situation, what would you do? ignore it? or just stand aside and let others achieve things? Remeber that god throws diffuculties at your path only to increase your endurance and the will to do better.

From early childhood, parents at home and teachers at school tell you that life is a rat race, you stop, you lose. But realize that it is interest that takes to be a winner, because you don't get tired by doing what you love. Each one of us wants to be a winner in our hearts of hearts, but only a 'want' does not make you a winner, it takes sheer hardwork and perseverance to succeed. Success always comes to doers not wanters. Some people have mental ability, some have health and physical strength, while some have a strong personality which takes them quickly to success, so dont fret about what you don't have rather devote time in enhancing the skills that you have. Take stock of your talent; every body is blessed with some talent, all you have to do is to recognize it and hone them.

All the people in the world who appeared as leaders in their fields, went through numerous failures at each step. They followed the simple rule of not giving up, not leaving a task in the middle and never saying "I can't do it". 'Defeat' was a word not to be seen in their dictionaries. Determination to succeed distinguishes people of great achievement from the rest of the mankind. Winners do not rest after success, they try to achieve more and better than their own records.

For example, tennis stars- Federer,The Williams sisters , they do not rest on their laurels. They come back year after year to create more record, win more Grand Slams and break their own records. Injuries and setbacks do not stop them. They always learn from their mistakes and strive hard. Winners not only use their brains, they control their emotions too. Emotional imbalance can make you mentally weak and lose your focus .

A mistake is a proof that you are trying and learning, so dont feel low when you commit a mistake, instead keep trying!

''Hold your head high, for you are unique, one of a kind. Be proud that even though you have limitations, you have enough talent, intelligence and resources to follow your goals and fufill your dreams"
