Are women inferior than men?

Well the answer is no! Many of us fail to realize that being a woman itself is a super power!

Women since ages were considered inferior because they were not given the opportunity to showcase themselves. Had they been given the freedom to do what they want, the scenario would have been different .Even though after so many years of civilization women are still being considered as the weaker section .They have been denied their basic rights and were subjected to mental and physical torture. But despite all these women have been proving themselves that they are in no way less than men. Afterall all these inhuman practices that they were made to undergo, only increased their endurance and the hope to do better. They have been excelling and are excelling in their respective fields giving out strong message that they can do anything and everything , come what may.

Here are examples of such persona who have reached the pinnacle of success in their field of work and are standing out as role models for many.

Nirmala sitaraman born in Madurai on 30 may in 1959 is a politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party.She completed her bachelor of arts degree in economics from seethalakshmi ramaswami college in tiruchirapalli. She is India’s second female defence minister and female finance minister after indira Gandhi

Kiran bedi – a lady who needs no introduction. She was born in Amritsar on 9 june in 1949. She completed her bachelor of arts in English from government college for women in Amritsar .She is the first woman IPS officer and is at present the Lieutenant governor of puducerry.

Kamala devi harris--born on 20 october 1964 in California ,is currently competing for the prestigious position of president of the united states . Previously she was the district attorney of san Francisco and attorney general of California, becoming the state’s first woman , first African – American and the first person of South Asian descent to hold the office.

Kalpana chawla born on 17 march in 1962 got her bachelor of engineering degree in aeronautical engineering from punjab engineering college. She was the first woman of India to enter the space. She breathed her last when the US space shuttle disintegrated before entering the earth.

Indra nooyi born on 28 october 1955 is a successful and influential business woman . She finished her bachelor’s degree in physics, chemistry and maths from Madras Christian college . She held the position of CEO for the most distinguished firm PEPSICO . She has been one among the 100 most influential people in the world in 2007 and 2008.
