PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is an online multiplayer battle royale game developed and published by PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of South Korean video game company Bluehole. The game is based on previous mods that were created by Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene for other games, inspired by the 2000 Japanese film Battle Royale, and expanded into a standalone game under Greene's creative direction. In the game, up to one hundred players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and equipment to kill others while avoiding getting killed themselves. The available safe area of the game's map decreases in size over time, directing surviving players into tighter areas to force encounters. The last player or team standing wins the round.

Battlegrounds was first released for Microsoft Windows via Steam's early access beta program in March 2017, with a full release on December 20, 2017. That same month, the game was released by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox One via its Xbox Game Preview program, and officially released in September 2018. The same year, a free-to-play mobile version for Android and iOS was released, in addition to a port for the PlayStation 4. Battlegrounds is one of the best-selling and most-played video games of all time, selling over fifty million copies worldwide by June 2018, with over 400 million players in total when including the mobile version.

Battlegrounds received positive reviews from critics, who found that while the game had some technical flaws, it presented new types of gameplay that could be easily approached by players of any skill level and was highly replayable. The game was attributed to popularizing the battle royale genre, with a number of unofficial Chinese clones also being produced following its success. The game also received several Game of the Year nominations, among other accolades. PUBG Corporation has run several small tournaments and introduced in-game tools to help with broadcasting the game to spectators, as they wish for it to become a popular esport. The game has also been banned in some countries, such as India, Nepal and Iraq, for allegedly being harmful and addictive for children in those regions.

After its mobile launch the surge to play the game increased rapidly as a high end game came to the common mobile users. It has become such a craze that if a person does not know about pubg he does not have right to blend with people.

PUBG is the most addictive game anyone can get ised to. Children's parent gets frowned at their kids for just playing a simple game and not studying specifically in India it has become a huge issue. Even ban on pubg was being issued and in some states the playing of pubg has been an punishable offence. Recently in Gujarat 4 kids got arrested for playing pubg in public. So you can get the idea how it is affecting the life. One has become less productive in the course of time due to this game, children are spending 4-5 hours playing pubg and not doing anything productive. After playing they don't even get time to do anything productive.

The WHO in2018 declared gaming addiction as a mental health disorder. Addiction to video games increases their depression and anxiety levels. Children generate genetic disorders and fatigue as they don't do any physical activity and they are prone to muscle cramps, arthritis etc. They become lazy mind becomes dull.

Even some people refers to it as drug and its very much addictive.
If i give you my example, I myself also played this game for few days. And my personal experience is-pubg is a very addictive game. You can’t get asleep while playing this. You spend or waste a hell lot of time on PubG. And also, you not only spend your time on playing but also on watching others on streaming channel and youtube. I also faced a kind of heaviness when i started playing because of too much concentration it needs. But, later on this got resolved. Don’t know about other, but i love this game untill and unless this is a huge addiction.

A case came up that someone killed someone as he didn't have give him the desired gun in game. You can get the idea how much hatred this game iscreating. I got myself saved at the right time.

Games do also positive effect but you must do game in limit and do not cross your limit. Playing games alter the brain’s physiological structure in the same manner as do learning to read, navigating using a map, or playing the piano. Much like exercise can build muscle, the effective combination of concentration and rewarding surges of neurotransmitters like dopamine strengthen neural circuits which can build the brain. In shooting games like PubG, the character may be running and shooting at the same time. This method requires a great deal of eye-hand coordination and visual-spatial capability to succeed.

Further details will be given in next article after some recent news. Stay tuned.
