Social media has become an eminent part of our lives, our opinions, thoughts , every little thing has been refashioned. In the cyber-age, where teenagers and adults have made social communication, a part of their daily routine, variations are demanded. For a constant stage of entertainment, alterations are a must-have.

Earlier, we had jokes and riddles in trend whenever entertainment was required. And now we have developed ourselves to memes and trolls as a new form of entertainment. Memes are basically images, videos or texts that are meant to be humorous and are actively shared by users on Internet. Trolls are, on the other side, a set of humorous posts to ridicule someone's online posts and comments which are either aggressive or dumb.

Although memes and trolls are meant for entertainment purposes, but it has it's hand in moulding the mindsets of the viewers and usually come out with a new way of thinking. They are a different kind of stress- busters and are interesting to comprehend. It takes intellectual power to understand such memes and a socially stable and healthy mind to reflect over them.

Now-a-days, social media is filled with memes and trolls everywhere around. A single online post or an interview, a celebrity's extraordinary outfit, a movie's trailer or a dialogue, anything can be used as a meme material.

Social networking sites such as Facebook , Instagram and Twitter have now been occupied with pages purposely created for making and posting memes. Users enjoy them to a great extent and they are made viral real quick. The ones involved in making such memes are generally denoted as 'memers'.

These days, teenagers are more involved in making memes and trolls and are simultaneously indulged in a kind of competition to get the highest number of people to react to their memes. Memes have astonishingly become a source of earning too as some pages pay memers for the memes they make.

Making memes is not such an easy task as it seems, as it takes a good knowledge of the events happening around and a strong intellect to arrange things to come up with a meme.

Memes are, in my opinion, a good exercise for the brain as they are little tough to interpret and are humorous at the same time, which is like icing on the cake.

People also have the amenity to get their views betold through comments and shares. And through shares, they reach most of the people like a sensation.

Whenever, there is a thrilling news in the market, more than other forms of media, memes ensure that they get most of the people know about it.

Events and comments of well known personalities are recorded and parodied at a huge level with a pinch of satire and sarcasm.

An event or news becomes the centre for all the memes at a time, at some time it has been a movie's trailer or a politician's statement, a stand up comedian's comical remarks or a cute conversation with a witty kid, an actor's outfit or a cricket match, whatever it be , the skilled memers will make it a source of laughter.

Apart from being just laughs and smiles, memes are also a part of re-shaping the minds of mankind, and have a great impact on the activities and thoughts of the youth. To express your thoughts, you just need a meme these days and that's all.
