5 90’S Fashion Trends That Made A Comeback

The 90’s were revolutionary in terms of fashion. Some pretty iconic trends came in and ruled the fashion scene. As every great thing finds a way of coming back, so did the fashion trends of the 90s. We are glad that they are! The idea behind these comebacks is recreating those looks while making necessary alterations. Here is a list of five 90’s fashion trends that have made a major comeback.

1) High waisted jeans (earlier known as Bell-Bottoms)

Denims had crept into every wardrobe by the 90’s. Almost every women owned several high waist mom jeans for casual wear. This statement still holds true after all these years later. The modern version comes with some alterations where the flared bottoms are replaced with straight cut, ankle length legs. Best part? They are oh so comfortable.

2) Polka Dots

Something which we Indians know as the famous Bobby Print, after the film Bobby. The resurgence of the timeless polka dots time and again have only asserted its timelessness. Those bright midi dresses with polka dots are very in this season.

3) Dungarees

Remember Anjali donning those dungarees in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai? Yep. 90s were the season of overalls and denim dungarees made a fashionable comeback this season. 20 years down the line, they have made their way into our closets. Apart from scoring high on the style quotient, they also exude an effortless vibe, hence quintessentially redefining our style statement for years.

4) Crop Tops

Kinda surprising? It just weren’t called crop tops back in the days. The crop top is one of those trends that found its way from where it started and this time it’s gotten better. Wear them with jeans, shorts, maxi skirts, tracks, and everything you can think of pairing them with.

5) Pant Suits

Loved that boss babe look in the 90s? Don’t worry, its back and for good. After having disappeared in the 2000’s, the style resurfaced in a new look and women have loved it ever since. Pair it with those fancy bralettes or crop tops and experiment with the colours. Its sophisticated, sassy and makes a statement.
