With four hundred wild life sanctuaries and approximately eighty parks, only India in this entire globe possess such a huge number of natural habitats, and they are not only home to most of the fauna whose count is at mark of risk. Let’s have a quick look on them.
Bengal Tiger is not only found in India but also in Bangladesh. It is considered as the national animal of India. Human-tiger conflicts and poaching are mainly responsible for the less count of Bengal tiger.

If we compare that which creature is most endangered in the past 100 years then this family along with Hawks bill turtle will top in this list. Only in last 10 years we saw a decrease in count of these families by ninety percent.
23 years ago i.e. in 1996, IUCN has added this species in the species which is critically endangered.
Region where they exist is Assam of India and even they are not too much in number, their generation is already is in peril. Just to sell their horns they are stars of the eyes of hunters.
Both male and female species of this family posses a single black horn. If we compare asian elephnat an this family then this family of rhinoceros is at par with elephant family interms of its massiveness.
Among 3000 living ones of this family, most of them are found in Kaziranga national park.
It is that breed which is at par with all mammals in terms of its intellectual level as well as in its shape and size too. They are having an average dietary intake of 150 kg in a day.
Rice and sugarcane are favourite food to them. Generally they are very peaceful but sometimes they can become dangerous too. Now, only two reserves in India are their home and they are Corbett and Nagarhole.
We all know that many attempts are being done by authorities in India to conserve its fauna but until and unless, crowd will not support these movements, nothing of importance can be gained from these movements.
