Yeah, I know this is an exaggerated title but you’ll know in a bit why I chose this topic.
I know you guys must’ve seen millions of articles on self esteem but does it really bother you? We people smile like idiots when life encounters a Santa Claus and adjust on the other hand when life is a bummer.
That was true and correct but a little evolution won’t hurt anyone and that is more of that charming smile. Adjust, smile and improve no matter what.
So, the other day I was wondering what to write this week and I stumbled upon the topic “self-esteem”. The reason to choose such a topic is basically a pimple and few peanut sized scars on my face.
I have been having this skin problem from about 4-5 years now, so I learnt the magic of makeup….🧚♀️
Just kidding, I didn’t. I am one of those girls who watch makeup tutorials but don’t even know their foundation shade.
Well, jokes apart, what did I do then? Worked my mind like a sane person and consulted a doctor. That did work but still I live some day with pimple and scars here and there and some days with just scars, you know someone has to stay or how else does it work on an oily skin. But I promised myself, one day I’ll too flaunt my skin and personally I have come a long way from where I started not just because of the medication but because I know there is one more feature on my face that doesn’t require a filter and that’s my smile.
I learnt how my life made more sense with “me”.🤩
And I swear this is not just about me, I have read blogs and known people who have had extreme self-esteem issues. Making sure that you don’t feel weird and left out is one simple step and that will eventually happen if you start valuing your strength.
And people; if you ever understand someone’s problem, even a tiny bit, let them know they are strong. Let’s face it everyone, its 22nd century and we already have millions of things to feel bad for, let’s not kill someone’s confidence right away. Even though someone else’s approval isn’t required but compliments help, if not more.
Everyone is unique in their own skin, colour, size, shape, gender, origin, talents, etc.
That’s it for my today’s TED content (LOL).
Your view matters and most importantly you and your presence matters.
