Are You Artistic Enough To Be Fashionable?

The world is changing every second, that may be in the technological sector or as human behaviour or by mother nature’s point of view and fashion is an important part of that change.

How close is 90’s and today’s fashion? Quite significantly different and that is how we know that fashion evolves. So many people inhibit this planet, is everyone walking exactly at the same pace as the fashion world? No, of course not. Everyday a new style starts to trend and honestly, as much it is humanly possible to design a new style, it equally is humanly impossible (or close to impossible as we say) too to keep up.

And as I am writing about fashion, one important event that crossed my mind is a famous red carpet known all over the globe as the The Metropolitan Museum Of Art and popularly knows as the MET Gala. Each year this red carpet witnesses many well-known faces and some mind-blowing outfits. Met gala is one such event that has some standards as high as the Burj Khalifa.

So, this year too it was as an extravagant affair as the theme was Camp Fashion. Celebrities dressed as extra as possible and designer showed their creativity that eyes can’t ignore. But in the back of my head, all I am analysing is how deeply related fashion is with art. Fashion evolves and so does art. Everything that was ever made with passion and differentiated itself from others is art, that may be colourful brush strokes or a piece of wood carved with at most precision.

And this is exactly what fashion is, irrespective of your gender, skin colour and other physical aspects, fashion differentiates a person from others. Different colour interest gives rise to different style statements. So, is it just safe to say art as fashion or is art and fashion are anyway corelated? Well, I would say they have been related timelessly and are going to be.

No matter what you wear, you are artistic enough to be pairing a gingham skirt with a crop top, a casual tee with overly used faded jeans, a beautiful white dress with a pair of sneakers or a shiny gown and heels. The fashion world lets you proudly choose your colour pallet and create an art that is worth a bright smile on your face and possibly inspires others to be fashionable in their own sense as well.

So, on a brighter note, everyone is evolving fashionably and indeed, everyone is artistic enough to be fashionable.
